Multilines Corporation is not allowed illegal child labor, prison or slave labor, physical manipulation of workers, unfair business practices in its operations and those of its suppliers. While Multilines Corporation does not need third party audits of suppliers’ facilities in regards to such illegal practices, Multilines Corporation expects its suppliers to maintain compliance programs around labor laws and to be able to establish an acceptable record of such compliance.
While Multilines Corporation does not keep an in-house training program focused specially on supplier labor law compliance and justifying risks of labor law violations within the supply chains, managers responsible for purchasing decisions are informed of these risks and are expected to make the compliance expectations of Multilines Corporation known to the vendors and suppliers of goods and services. Multilines Corporation expects suppliers of goods and services to deliver at a minimum the equal inspection of their own supply chain to verify that those suppliers also comply with the labor laws of the country or countries in which they are doing business.
